Seven Swans Bird Heaven (Yedikır Dam) built in 1985 is a small dam lake located in the northwest of Amasya. The area gains the statue of Important Bird Area (IBA) with a large number of ruddy shelduck staying here during the months except the breeding season. During the winter months, it hosts a significant number of waterfowl such as teal, mallard and great black-headed gull. It is a wildlife protection area and an archeological site.
